Once we receive your inquiry, we’ll review your project goals, location, scope, timeline and anticipated investment. If your project appears to be a good fit for Evoke, we’ll reach out to discuss the next step and learn more about your home. From there, we’ll recommend the service path that best fits your project.

Start by completing our project inquiry form and telling us a little about your home, your goals and where you are in the process. We’ll review the information and be in touch within 1–2 business days with the appropriate next step.

Every project is different, and the overall investment depends on the size and scope of the project, construction requirements, furnishings, cabinetry, materials and finishes selected.
Design fees are based on the level of service and complexity of the project and are established after we understand the scope. Construction, furnishings and other project purchases are budgeted separately as applicable.
We discuss investment expectations early so we can determine whether the project goals, scope and budget are aligned before moving into design.

Every project timeline is different and depends on the scope of work, decision-making, product lead times, contractor availability and construction requirements.
During the planning process, we’ll establish an anticipated design timeline and identify important milestones. Renovations, remodeling and full-service projects typically move through multiple phases, so thoughtful planning at the beginning helps the project progress more smoothly once implementation begins.

Yes. We’re happy to collaborate with your contractor, builder and other project professionals as part of the agreed design scope. Our role is to communicate the design intent, provide applicable specifications and documentation, and help answer design-related questions as the project moves forward.
Contractors remain responsible for construction methods, pricing, scheduling, site conditions and execution of their work.

Yes. Each design service includes a defined number of revision rounds, outlined in your proposal before the project begins. This gives us room to refine the design together while keeping the project moving forward.
If additional revisions or a change in scope are requested, we’ll let you know before any additional design fees are incurred.

Interior design considers how a space looks and how it functions. Depending on the project, that can include space planning, cabinetry, lighting, materials, finishes, furnishings and design documentation, along with coordination with contractors and other project professionals.
Interior decorating generally focuses on the aesthetic layers of an existing space—such as furniture, rugs, art, accessories and color—without significantly changing the layout or built environment.
Evoke offers both design planning and the finishing layers, allowing us to create a cohesive home from the foundational decisions through the final details.

If your project involves changes to the layout, cabinetry, lighting, finishes or overall design direction, bringing in a designer early can be extremely helpful.
Establishing the design and scope before construction begins gives contractors clearer information to price and build from, while helping reduce rushed selections and costly changes later.
In many cases, the designer and contractor ultimately work together—but the design plan helps establish what is actually being built.

Yes. We consider your overall project investment when recommending materials, finishes, fixtures and furnishings. Our goal is to allocate the budget thoughtfully—investing where quality, performance or visual impact matters most and identifying opportunities to save where it makes sense.
If adjustments are needed, we’ll help you evaluate the trade-offs so decisions remain aligned with the overall design rather than making substitutions one item at a time.

Our services are structured to give each project a clear scope, but every home is different. After reviewing your project, we’ll recommend the service path that best fits your needs. Optional services or add-ons may also be available.
If your needs change during the project, we can discuss adjusting the scope before additional work begins.

Yes, depending on the project and purchasing arrangement. Some clients prefer to purchase certain retail items directly, while other furnishings, fixtures or materials may be procured through Evoke. We’ll establish those responsibilities at the beginning of the project so everyone knows who is responsible for ordering, tracking, delivery and installation.
Items purchased independently by the client remain the client’s responsibility for ordering, returns, warranties and product issues. If an independent purchase requires additional redesign or specification work, additional design fees may apply.

We establish realistic expectations and help plan proactively, but construction pricing, product availability, lead times and contractor schedules can change throughout a project.
Evoke does not guarantee third-party pricing or construction schedules. We do, however, communicate known changes, help evaluate design-related options and work to keep decisions moving forward within our scope.

Evoke Design Group is based in Ocala, Florida and serves residential clients throughout Ocala and select surrounding communities, including Belleview, Dunnellon and The Villages.
Because the level of on-site involvement varies by project, service availability is based on both location and scope. Tell us where your project is located when you submit your inquiry, and we’ll determine whether it falls within our service area.

Signature Turnkey is our most comprehensive level of service. It combines full design planning with procurement, vendor and trade coordination, delivery and installation oversight, and final styling—allowing Evoke to guide the design from the initial concept through the finishing details.
It’s designed for clients who want one cohesive vision and a higher level of support throughout the process.

Rather than overwhelming you with endless options, we present thoughtfully curated selections based on your lifestyle, preferences, budget and overall design direction. You remain involved in the decisions that matter while we manage much of the research, coordination and detail behind them.

Yes. Signature Turnkey can be especially valuable for second-home owners and clients relocating to Florida who may not be available to manage every design decision, delivery or installation in person.
Evoke can serve as your local design partner—managing the design details, procurement and coordination within our scope while keeping you informed throughout the process. The goal is to make creating your Florida home feel organized and manageable, even when you’re doing it from another state.

Yes. Evoke Design Group offers interior design services for homeowners relocating to Ocala and select Central Florida communities.
We can begin planning before your move and help you determine what works in your new home, what may be worth bringing with you, and what you'll need to complete the space. Depending on your project, that may include furniture planning, window treatments, lighting, cabinetry, storage, furnishings and other finishing details.
